Biography
Born in 1961 Matthew is eldest son of renowned artist, Kathleen Ngale and Motorbike Paddy, and brother of Janie and Elizabeth Mpetyane. Living in Utopia Matthew rarely paints preferring a bush lifestyle. When he does paint his work are a beautiful expression of Bush Plum Dreaming (or Conkerberry Dreaming) drawing on the dot work style (representing ahakeye - bush plum or native current or citrus) over layers of paint his famous mother Kathleen and Aunty Polly Ngale used.
