This painting depicts designs associated with a rockhole site to the east of Wingelina, a community in South Australia. The roundel in the centre of the painting reprseents the rockhole. In ancestral times a group of women, represented by the arc like shapes in the area before continuing their travels to the west. The numerous small circles in the painting represent the bush foods that were gathered. The bar like shapes represent the women’s digging sticks, whilst the comb like forms represent nyimparra (hair string belts).
