Based on the Northern Queensland rock caves in the area where his grandfather was born, this image referes to the ceremony at which he was given the name Arone. The work is related to fertility and creation withimages of the male serpent and a female spirit figure holding a flowering branch. Three barramundi represent the growth of the boy to aman and also refer to a journey back to the Dreaming.
